I don't know if anyone suggested this but have you tried unscrewing the jets and cleaning the individual parts? Each jet should have a ring like cap on the outside, a ball, and a cavity. I am having the same trouble with our jetted tub and tried cleaning the separate parts and the cavities with a toothbrush, antibacterial soap, and hot water. Then ran the jets with a tub full of hot water and bleach. I'm wondering if I can run it without the ball and cap installed so I can really flush out the cavities.

Has anyone suggested taking the jets apart and cleaning the individual parts? Each jet should have a ring like cap, a ball, and a cavity. I am having the same trouble with our jetted tub. Tonight, in one of my OCD moods, I removed the parts and cleaned them all with a toothbrush, antibacterial soap, and hot water. Then ran the jets with a tub full of hot water and bleach. I'm wondering if I can run the jets with out assembling the parts so I can really flush out the cavities.

I think maybe I need to go with bleach for mine. How much did you use?
