Does anyone have a new washing machine that isn't awful?

Mine is killing me. It's insane. All of our clothes are ruined. It's a top loader... whirlpool cabrio. It SUCKS!!!!

I have to pre-soak and scrub all slight stains (we have just a few of those &#128580...... and somehow they look even worse when I get them out of the wash.

I bought it - and the dryer- from Costco, so I think I may be able to return it. (I actually like the dryer though). But I'm also kind of wondering if it's the hard water here or something.

Anyway, it's driving me crazy. Anyone have recommendations?

We recently got a Samsung high capacity top loader. I like it, but being only 5'3, it can sometimes be a little tough to reach everything at the bottom.

I like our GE front loaders, but I'm pretty convinced they wont last :/

And with Mr. Little Laundry, I REALLY wish I had gotten a top loader.

So I had front loaders before and was like never that upset with them. I just wiped out that spot where gunk built up and left the door open. But I felt like everyone was like - oh you have to get a top loader- they don't smell, blah blah, now they make without agitator etc.

But now I think maybe toploaders without agitators just don't really work?

I wish we weren't renting and I could take away some cabinets in the laundry room and just get like a refurbished laundromat huge silver washing machine. Ahhh. Some day. Lol.

I know the company that makes the laundromat machines does make machines for homes. But who knows if they work either.

I think maybe Samsung was the top rated on the majority of lists I looked at yesterday. Do you feel like it's cleaning the clothes? (I'm a little taller, I think I'd be fine with it).

I love my front loader - I'm not 100% sure what brand it is though. Whirlpool, maybe? My parents just got a really nice set from Samsung.

That's the company... I've heard good things, but read a bunch of bad reviews yesterday. Blah.

We have a he top loader without the agitator that I hate. Nothing gets clean. I hate to replace something that isn't broken but I did research it a couple times when we decided we'd just do it. The problem I ran into was that I couldn't find on that I trusted would do a better job based on the reviews. I wish we had moved our old style one with an agitator from our last house.

I'm getting to the point where a cheap four setting, high agitator washing machine will be my next purchase, post the death of the current one. 😅

We have two top loaders without agitators and I love them. They're Kenmore. We've had them around 10 years and with 3 boys, they have gotten a workout!

TulipsAndSunscreen, do you have issues with the door latches or noise? That is my concern with mine.

I love our LG front loaders. 7 years, 3 moves and still going strong. The door needs a wipe now and then and I run a tub clean every few months.
