I'm making a neon yellow hat for my niece. That's her favorite color. I plan to make a matching scarf. She'll be easy to spot when I pick her up from school on Wednesdays.

Since I haven't downloaded tapatalk yet...and I post via the mobile site on my phone...I can't post a pic.

But I'm making a red scarf using that puffy stitch. I made 3 headbands and now I'm going for a scarf. Normally I don't have the longterm patience to make something so big. We will see. Thankfully it is working up quickly.

I've two things on the go. I'm experimenting with making a clock from old bike parts. I've a proof of concept model running.

With valentines coming I'm busy making flowers to sell (have 3 dozen on order, yijes) but this years home made surprise will be made from DW's bike chain she has worn out. Welded into a heart symbol then set in polished water clear resin as a coaster for her coffee.

          Anyone used resin before?

That sure beats my neon yellow hat in terms of skill level! That is really cool!

I bought us for Christmas last year a 4ft clock made out of auto parts. It was so cool looking that I could not pass it up. We love unique pieces of art in our home...and DH is a cyclist...and put around my townie. . Soooo, when IS your shop going live?
