I am breastfeeding, so I follow the WW online guidelines for BF moms, which seems like a hell of a lot of food

    breakfast:
    coffee w. tbsp creamer
    2 eggo nutrigrain waffles
    strawberries
    lunch:
    lean cuisine panini
    snack:
    2 babybel light mini cheeses
    whole wheat tortilla
    dinner:
    salad
    veggie dog
    snack:
1/2 dark chocolate bar and a glass and a half of wine

    30 minutes on the elliptical

Today is also my weight in day, and I was down 1.8 for the week.

well, I may have to do a cross country drive taking away scales. That's all there is to it.

Malkpa- that's really not a whole lot of food- it may seem like a whole lot of food at once, though. It's about 500 calories worth- and has fiber, good fat, protein and lots of Vitamin C. Enjoy it!

          How's everyone doing?

I went to the gym today- my trainer had some stuff for me to take on vacation on the chance that my asshat SIL won't get me a pass to her gym.

I feel like I've bee eating for sh&t because I'm trying to clean out the refrigerator before we leave. Today we went to McDonalds and I got a cheeseburger and small milkshake. eh, could have been worse, I suppose.
(In the interest of full disclosure, I bought a small fries, too but they were so icky that I tossed them. Cold, greasy fries- gross)

Tomorrow we're going to have to eat yogurt at every meal.

Things are going well here. Eating is good, workouts could be better. I swear my kids were in conspiracy to keep me from making it to the gym. Finally got back today -- it had been 4 days

            OT-
I would lovelovelove to workout with a trainer. Howver, I have no idea how much it costs at my gym, and am scared that if I ask it is going to be about a gazillion bucks. Wht is the going price for such a thing?

The thing with trainers is all in how you use them. I like to work out with Jenn because she pushes me to do stuff I'd never do because I'm inherently lazy at the gym.

But, I have hired trainers in the past and had weekly or even just monthly appointments to shake up the routine and get some new ideas to for some exercises and focus.

The more training THEY have and the more certifications they have the more expensive they are. One gym rat with a major in sports education isn't the same as the person who goes to the conventions and has frequently updated trainings. (You have to ask though, no gym is going to broadcast that their trainers are really salespeople)

Heidi, fire up the bus for a scale-collecting road trip!

Maybe you should put it in your DH's car so he takes it to work with him.

Sorry, you'll need a substitute bus driver for that. I weigh every day too.

I said you can do it but you have to average the numbers.

Alrighty, Friday is my weekly weigh in day and this AM I weighed 143.2. Last Friday was 146.0 so I'm down almost 3 pounds. Only a couple more to hit my target by Tuesday!!! :happyscale:

                              Whew Hew! Congrats!

I actually forgot to weigh myself this morning. Things have been a tad crazy what with trying to get the cat boarded, the bathrooms and dude's bedroom cleared out AND pack AND go to work.

Tomorrow I will try to remember! Tomorrow all we have to do is get up, have breakfast, meet with the contractor, take the dog, pick up dude's medications (ran out of time today) and get to the airport by 11:00am.

                              Jenn

PS- I did go to the gym today though- Thankfully. I'd probably be more of an insane person if I hadn't.

Chrisada, Holy Cow that a TON of weight to drop in such a short period of time! What a difference those carbs made! That's fantastic and you should be proud. Keep us posted on your progress!

Alright, we're back from Vegas and I was a bad girl! Buffets, lots of cocktails, and more cocktails. We did do a TON of walking though, so I'm hoping that will counteract some of my naughtyness. (sp?) I got on the scale this AM, so we can count that as my Friday weigh in and I'm at 144.6. So I gained a little more than a pound and that's not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I also bought a pair of pants while there that were 2 sizes smaller than what I usually wear. I was shocked!!!

The biggest problem I'm having is getting back on track from vacation mode. I'm still finding myself wanting to eat out and blow off my workouts. My so called workout buddy here isn't much encouragement because I was usually the one keeping her pumped. Any advice on regaining focus?
