It arrived today, and I am BLOWN AWAY by the calories and fat that hide in foods with "healthy" names. 2 "Mulitgrain" pancakes w/syurp at Bob Evans (no meat - just the pancakes) 856 calories, 19 g fat, 1,646 mg sodium.
Auntie Anne's Whole Wheat Pretzel (w/o butter or cheese sauce) 450 calories, 9.5 g fat, 1,610 mg sodium.
Even when you TRY to make good selections - you get slammed. The Panera Sierra Turkey sandwich has 840 calories and 40 grams of fat!
It even tells you which bad thing is less bad ... and the difference can be INSANE! The Au Bon Pain Cinnamon Roll has 463 calories and 20 grams of fat LESS than the Cinnabon Classic.
