So... I got a wild hair and signed up for this http://www.godirtygirl.com/ and now I'm wondering what the heck I was thinking!? I hate running, I generally believe that running is something that you do while being chased by things with teeth. I even have a team now of about 7 of us...and I am thinking that although I am the instigator, I am also the weakest link. YIKES! Any tips would be welcome.

It is very similar to the warrior dash and the tough mudder, although this one is only for women. I'm freaked, but still think it will be fun... if I survive.Wife to PGY4 & Mother of 3.

I finished it today. It was extremely doable and a LOT of fun. As an all-women course, there was no competition, just a feel of camaraderie, it was amazing. I was proud of myself, I completed every obstacle and ran (well jogged) through the rest. I even kept my teammates going strong. I "took up the rear" most of the time, but most of my mates were sprint-walk-sprint-walk girls (I do not sprint), but the mud and obstacles were so.much.fun. They are apparently planning 20 more locations next year, so keep checking your area if you're interested.
*yay* I'm going to go pass out now.Wife to PGY4 & Mother of 3.
