    The Color Run!





    Hubby and I are training for the 5K "Color Run" in Portland, OR August 18, 2012. You can have up to four people on a team and we have one friend from Seattle joining our team and one spot left if anyone wants to join us. Also if anyone else from iMSN wants to meet up there and join us that would be great! The more the merrier. I haven't been this excited about an event in a long time.

    They are doing the color run in 18 cities around the US.

    Details for Portland Color Run

    I was reading the details further. It says 4-10 people on a color team so I think we have to have at least 4 people to make a team to get the reduced price. Let me know if you want to be on a color team for Portland. Registration before March 1st is only $25. I don't see registration is open for Portland yet but I plan to call them tomorrow and ask.

      Looks fun. Too bad the one in Dallas is already full

      I'm doing a chocolate run next weekend though!

        Bummer Dallas is full. I put a call and email into the color run and I'm just waiting to hear back from them. The chocolate run sounds sweet and my kind of run!

          That looks like so much fun it almost inspires me to start running. I wish they would do one in Indianapolis. Then I would SURELY be inspired!

            You could still come to Portland TigerLily. My cousin sent me a message today saying she saw my post about it and was inspired to sign up for the one in Las Vegas in 2 weeks.

              So this is the official word from "Color Run". It doesn't answer my question and it seems like a generic message. When I tried to call today during their business hours it went to voice mail. So I guess I'll just have to keep checking their website.

              Thanks for your email. We are getting all the details squared away on
              the rest of our runs this year and once they are finalized we will
              post them on our website....including registration dates, prices,
              location, and charities!

                Hey people of Dallas the Color Run just posted on their facebook page that they stashed 4 race bibs/packets to the sold out Color Run tomorrow. The first people to find their location and collect the bibs/packets can run in the race tomorrow. They put up pictures of where they stashed them too so if you recognize the place you can go there now and get them! Here is their facebook page to see the pictures.

                    I signed up for the Color Run in Indy in July! It's going to be hot, but I'm pretty excited anyway!

                        After reading this, it sounded so fun that I just whipped up a group of girls to run the FL one with me in December! Thanks for the inspiration.

                          You all are so lucky! I could barely drum up any support out here. The one person I had going with me from Seattle, besides dh, is having hip surgery. Then I asked for time off for the color run in Portland and they changed the date from when it was scheduled in August to September. My vacation is already locked in and I have no more time off. I'm kind of bummed. But I'm glad others are taking this opportunity.

                            Just finished the Color Run! It was so much fun!!!! I would attach a photo, but I still can't figure out how to make that work. Those of you who are my fb friends though, I posted a few. And for those of you who have sold out Color Runs and didn't get a chance to sign up, have you seen Color Me Rad? We have one of those coming up here in September, and it looks like it has quite a few cities!

                              There isn't a color run in Boston but 6 other ladies and I signed up for the Diva Dash in September. They just had their race in Boulder today and it looked like a blast.
