Totally take your kids. You're right, they do need to see their mom totally dominate in a jaw dropping way. (not that you don't do this every day, but the kiddos might not see it that way)

Really? It was SO long! I barely made it through (and I LOVE Mary Poppins).

      Haha.

Kelly, that is so damn cool that you are doing this. I am way impressed. And I just know your kids will be too.

When DS was in 2nd grade I took him and his grandma to NYC for my mom's 60th. We saw Grease which my mom and DS thought was awesome. However, DS turned to me about half way through and groaned, "They're singing....again." Hmmm. I will see a show, if possible, but I will keep in mind who it is for.

Lol! I actually prefer musicals to regular plays. Plays are so boring to me. At least there is singing and dancing in musicals.

Hahah.. me too.. I am headed up to NYC in July for four days, four musicals. We do this as a family every couple of years, go for the weekend and jam in as many musicals possible. We love our musicals. I can't wait to see Newsies!

Congrats on the marathon. That is so exciting!

I'm dying to see Newsies! I watched that movie a million times growing up. I'm hoping we get to go to NYC sometime this fall and see that and Wicked.
