I've been really frustrated lately. I finally got my butt in gear and have been sticking to weight watchers and exercising regularly. I'm working out ~5 days a week alternating Insanity (think plyometric interval training--it's definitely a challenge) and Couch-to-5k.
Admittedly, there are still eating behaviors I need to change, but I've really whipped some of the problematic ones into shape and I've been well within my points values 3 out of the 4 weeks.
I'm still going to keep sticking to it because the alternative isn't an option, but I'm getting really discouraged. The first week I started this, I lost 2 pounds. The four weeks since then I've lost and gained the same 1-2 lbs over and over and over. I've seen much more success in the past with the level of exercise/eating right I'm doing now.
Some of my clothes feel a WEE tiny bit better, but otherwise, NOTHING. I weigh myself daily and can actually see a decent increase in my weight after I've had one bad day, even if it is pretty minor and I'm still within my points. I am getting more toned, but I know my weight should be moving by now.
What gives?? I'm wondering if it is nursing. N is eating lots of solids now, so she's backed off and I've adjusted my points accordingly. I'm also right at my pre-pregnancy weight.
I'm not too concerned about a dropping milk supply at this point, but I'm not ready to wean her at only 9 months. Ideally I really want to let her wean herself--I'm not opposed to extended nursing and honestly think it is a good idea. At the same time, I want to be pregnant by this time next year, maybe earlier, and I REALLY don't want to be at my current weight pregnant again. Ideally I'd like to lose 30 lbs.
I know others struggled with this--input?
