I think I got it to work. I wasn't able to send you the request through the app on my phone. Instead, I had to log on through the web page.

Got a Fitbit today! I mulled over the Jawbone v. FitBit for WEEKS and finally decided. I think the FB fits my preconceived notions about what I wanted, though I definitely still think the Jawbone is cuter. Just registered it and synced it and haven't moved from the couch yet. Might need to take a couple laps around the house to get some steps started

How do people become friends/in groups etc? And if you connect via FB, can people see your weight? Self conscious, party of one.

Also - how did it default me at having burned 861 calories today? That doesn't seem....accurate. I mean I just ate a cheeseburger at lunch so...

I think the "burn" is just what your body should naturally be burning by just living That number gets adjusted if you exercise. When you put your food in, then it will adjust how many calories you have left. It also takes a bit for it to "know" your body. You can make your body measurements private including weight.

I'm debating returning my fitbit. I'm not really using it and burping the baby puts it into sleep mode all the time. I'm definitely having the issue where steps aren't being counted because I exercise with the stroller.

What about getting the belt clipped one?

ST - when I do my incline machine, I tie it to my shoelace because I have to hold on.

Also a good idea! Or what about just pinning the whole wrist band to your pants (put the pin through one of the clasp holes)

Do y'all use either of those methods to avoid this when using an elliptical or does it still pick up steps/activity on an elliptical?
