My DH, a fully grown 5'10" man who burns 1500-2000 calories *just on exercise* each day, has a LoseIt budget of 1400 calories! It drives me insane! The only problem is that the interface is less fully-featured, they don't have an option to enter your own recipes and custom foods that I've found yet.

Anyway. I will PM you, BonBon!
I'll be starting fitness pal on Monday. I'll be starting fitbit once I can return my blue one and get a black one. Yes, I'm picky.

I'd love to detox wine, coffee ( I can live with green tea) and sweets. The problem is how much I enjoy all of these things.

I'm working on cutting out sweets/deserts. I'm an emotional eater and sugar sensitive so it creates an awful spiral that includes weight gain. I also am working toward fitness. I've started using our exercise bike 5 or 10 minutes a day. Baby steps.

My enjoyment knows no boundaries. I'm hoping that 3 days without will help temper my gusto. Ha!

I've been thinking of splurging on a fitbit myself. I guess I need to look into what all it can do and how it can help me feel confident and pretty for the wedding.

I have been doing spinach, kale, banana, cucumber, scoop of protein powder and some sort of liquid. That has been my lunch and I love it. I tried it after a friend made it, I was convinced I would hate it. But I loved it!'

This no bread no rice no grains bullshit is hard! I'm jonesing for some pretzels. And Nutella. I need chocolate.

It is! But it really eliminates all-over bloat and the pregnant belly look. (not that YOU have that look. I do. *sigh*)

                    2014 "detox"

You know what helps? The flu. I have zero interest in food. Z-e-r-o. I've choked down two bowls of soup today and a Kind bar. If I wasn't basically immobile, I'd be on track with this whole healthy living in 2014 thing. But I still feel quite "toxic"...

ETA: this is actually the first night I've felt human in a week, so I may live yet.

I've decided to wait and detox after I'm not snowed in with four quibbling kids. Monday I'm breaking outta here...

I think I might be ending mine early and cheating. My mom cooks dinner and tonight's includes breaded fish. I could scrape the bread crumbs off....but I'd still be getting some. Also, I really really really want chocolate. Like bad. And there are cookies at home. Will-power, what's that?? I think I gave myself a good jump start. But I've had a headache all day and I know I haven't consumed enough calories during this "detox". At least the scale went down so I feel like I accomplished something. But I'm about ready to call it.

DH took a break from his diet last night and kept refilling my wine glass when he topped his own off. Oh, well!

I'm starting Monday (along with some others on here, I think) if you all want to jump back in.

I ended up eating sausage potato kale soup. Yummy! And a spoonful of nutella.
