Yes. I'm starting a megathread. LOL.

Let's whip each other (or gently nudge each other) into shape!

I downloaded the 7 min workout app. I haven't used it yet, but I downloaded it.

I did 1 sit up and 1 push up on the 1st, 2 on the 2nd, 3 on the 3rd and 4 today. My goal is to make it a year. My friend ruled that knee push ups only count for half, so I'm doing twice as many I suppose. And it's a full sit up. Not a crunch.

My gym membership will start on Wednesday and flag football season is here. I plan to lose 20 pounds in 10 weeks.

I'm not looking to lose weight but I'm definitely in need of cardio because I get winded going up a flight of stairs. It's pretty sad. I started doing the 10 minute Spark People cardio workouts on YouTube this week.

I need to lose weight. I'm still recovering from the flu and strep but hope to get on the exer bike in a few days. I also want to try some beginner yoga videos off YouTube..

I need to lose some weight. I'm starting off with some form of exercise every day. This week it's been walking /jogging on the treadmill or walks with the stroller if it's warm enough outside. I feel much better already! I'm also cutting out sugar since I've been eating way too many sweet things. That's the hardest part for me.

I'm back where I started last year...so in the first 6months I lost 20lbs...and then I gained it all back. Ughhhhh!!!

I was supposed to get up and gym today. Slept in instead.

            Must find motivation.

Just back from first run of new campaign. Ouch ouch ouch. Wrote a haiku (writing one a day this year) as I ran to distract me....

              Knees shrouded in pain,
              Muscles chanting protest songs,
              Matter beating mind.

Soon it'll be mind over matter, hopefully.

I tried Tai Chi this weekend. It killed my knees. I'll probably try to keep up with it as a form of meditation for the new year, but I won't count on it as exercise. Maybe the more I get into it the more exercise it will be.

Off to the Y again today .... Monday, the eternal reboot of the diet/exercise campaign.

Try Pilates, it is much easier on the knees.

I am looking forward to feeling more comfortable with my body.
I know it will be work, but I want to feel healthier. Buying a scale on Amazon today, to establish a new relationship of healthy awareness.
I haven't owned one for years, but I feel like I can now - I choose to have a positive relationship with my scale.

You know, honestly that is key regardless of whether we gain or lose this year. It's important to love our bodies and ourselves.

I would like to feel more comfortable with my body even if the numbers on the scale don't move. DH tells me it's long overdue that I just accept myself fluff and all.

I hope you can have a positive relationship with your scale too. I find it to be a troubled relationship!

Day 1 of being back on South Beach phase 1. I hate that I'm following a fad diet, but if I can use it to drop another 10-20 lbs this year, I'll be ridiculously happy. I didn't go to the gym today because DD was sick.

First day back at the gym after MONTHS.

I have lost my running ability so we're starting couch to 5k again. Blah. I am so mad at myself for not exercising and eating right the last six months. Really trying to let that go and just focus on doing it now but it's definitely a struggle!

It's a great way to jumpstart weightloss tbh. I used to love SB for that (but God help me, I just love carbs too much)! After a week it's not so bad once you've detoxed!
