That's awesome LSW! I'm officially going back to the gum tomorrow. I'll be able to walk on the treadmill at a normal pace, stretch and abs.

1 hour rowing this morning. My palms are so blistered. Must keep at it.

        Wow. I'm inspired.

I'm doing okay with going to the Y, but eating is another issue. We've had several nights out and they have done my 'diet' in.

        At least I'm still moving.

I don't know how to get motivated. I feel so apathetic and tired.

I am hormonal and completely off the wagon this weekend. I skipped my workout this weekend because of a migraine. My kids were stressing me out and I just took it out on food.

My sinuses get awful when I work out or I get a migraine. I don't know why but it limits me to early enough to be able to give meds a chance to work or late enough that I can just drug myself to sleep. That should probably be its own thread.

I couldn't make it to the gym Saturday or Sunday due to scheduling limits. Hoping I can make it Monday.

I'm finally starting to feel like I'm ready to get back on my new regime this year and work on my goals.

Last year I really wanted to lose weight but over did it in the first month by walking too much and gave myself a knee injury that lasted all year. Went to the doctor and she prescribed physical therapy. Even with insurance we couldn't afford it with our deductible so we bought a used exercise bike and I rode that puppy at home. It really seemed to help my knee and I lost weight. Then my bike broke after six months so I went to the property management office and asked them to please fix the bike in our little gym because it's been broken for six months and we picked this place to live because it had a bike and I needed low impact exercise for my bad knee. So they're going to fix it and we don't need to buy another use bike.

This year I weigh less than last year but not by much since I porked out over the holidays. I don't weigh the heaviest I've ever weighed either. Not even close.

I started exercising in our little gym yesterday and wrote my husband a note before he got home saying, "Your Fatass Know-It-All Wife is at the gym." When I got back to our place I found that he thought I was calling him a fatass in the note because he barely read it.

I was able to make it 20 minutes on the elliptical before my knee started complaining. I'm going to try to build up and do cardio and strength training five days a week while also changing my diet to a consistent fruit & veggies, lean meats and water with lemon. That's the way I've had success before. Mostly lots of different kinds of salads with cardio does the trick for me.

On day three here. Yesterday I tried Jillian Michael 30 day shred. It was twenty minutes and had me panting. I'm a bit soar today. I'm trying to do something other than the exercise bike. It makes by backside numb after ten minutes. It's really uncomfortable and if I keep going day after day I end up with an all day backside ache. Trying to branch out. Streaming YouTube on my tv is awesome!

                        How's everyone doing today?

Just did 20 min of classical stretch. Really helped loosen me up after yesterday's workout.

How often do you all weight yourself? I'm thinking once a week.?

Second mile "run" completed tonight, was faster than Monday's run.

Ides get padded bike shorts. Only way to do it!

Day 2 of South Beach. It isn't that hard, just requires so much planning.

I asked my sisters what they weigh today so I can mentally set goals. I was surprised! Makes me feel better about my modest goal!

I ran a mile at Orange theory in 9:45. I know that is slow but it is really good for me! Especially since I did 1600 yards rowing and 25 minutes of continuous weight legwork after. I really love orange theory
