okay, so friday i started my new plan on loosing and maintaining.

i have a really hard time drinking water from a glass, so that would basically leave me drinking one cup of coffee and a few sips of water with dinner. BAD. i just dont have the urge to drink during the day.

i got a water bottle. this has improved my intake dramatically. for some reason i can drink from a bottle but not a glass. since friday, i have been peeing like a mad woman.

food. it has replaced dh and friendships. it helps (or so i think) with being alone, bored, and contributed to my weight gain.

so, for the first time EVER in my life, i am measuring my food. portion control. WTH? why didnt i do this before? this is easy, but im hungry!!! i have also started a food journal and i have been reading on line about eating out. yes, i can still eat McDonalds (like we do so often....NOT) i just get a happy meal. i can go to applebees (again, not too often) and get the one of the weight watchers meals they offer.

since friday...i have lost one pound. i know that's not much...but i can do this. it is painful but i need to do this.

i mentioned a while ago i joined curves. that totally went out the door when dh started residency. when he starts night float and comes home in the morning, i will start walking.

    I CAN DO THIS!!!!!

You can do it! There will be days where you may" fall off the wagon"...but don't let it destroy the process! Just recommit and b4 you know it, slip-ups, will be a thing of the past... just like all the lbs you will be losing! Way to go!

i have issues with the scale. i have a hard time NOT weighing myself every stinking day. imagine my disapointment when it doesnt move.

blah....does starting your period make you gain? or not move?

            i want some chocolate.

this may sound completely unbelievable.....and i was in total shock this am when (enough with the weighing already) I weighed myself again. the same scale in the same place in my bathroom says im down 10 lbs. i did not believe it, so i tried on my most favorite levis EVER that my fat ass could not fit into since right after moving here....and they fit.

down 10! and im not nearly as hugry as i was in the beginning.

Yea!!! I bought one of those calorie/fat count books that list restaurants and all the calorie/fat, etc content for every item they serve. I keep in my car, it's very helpful.
