    • Ran 5 miles this morning at 10'03"/mi. I have a million things I need to be doing, but I'm glad I got a run in. I probably won't be able to exercise again until Monday, and this will be a calorie-packed weekend.

      • Pickpocketed in Berlin and lost my day purse with bit of cash and card. No drama.

Settling into prerace rest. Head in good place for tomorrow.

          • Oh no! That's a crummy way to start. Glad you're feeling good about the race, though!

            • Dave, you've got this! (Sorry about the lost $$ - I had a lot of cash swiped from me in Brasil several years ago).

                  • Operation lose 15-20lbs or more is in place. Trying to make good eating decisions and do some exercise, but it's tough when E refuses to sit in a stroller for more than a few minutes.

I did boudoir photos for DH for Valentine's Day. It was so much fun, and they turned out great! Don't stress too much - she did some magic with the camera (and probably Photoshop) for mine!

Thank you for this! I imagine I will need a bit of liquor before the shoot starts. Already nervous.

                          • On vacation this week, so far we have hiked daily and I have gotten a run daily. I am also reading The End of Dieting, and it is super inspiring. Yay healthy vacation! (Okay, there might be a less than healthy amount of wine involved, LOL.) The book has a bunch of testimonials from people who have followed a veggie-heavy diet to good effect, and in a total small world moment, I am 99% sure one of them is a local mom who is close friends with my mom friends -- I knew her by reputation as a health nut and apparently it is for good reason, since she has apparently lost 75 pounds and kept it off for several years, while also bei able to ditch her antidepressant and migraine medicine. Pretty cool!

They are ridiculously responsive, and if your problem doesn't get solved with basic troubleshooting they will usually send you a brand new unit, warranty or no.
I finally did this yesterday, and they totally fixed it over the phone! I was skeptical when they told me to wait 35 minutes and it would be working again (seemed like an odd length of time), but they were right. Not only that, but I weighed myself this morning for the first time in a while and I reached my "goal" weight when I wasn't paying attention! So a double win in the fitness department. 👍🏻

                              • I lost my fitbit yesterday. I have no idea when it fell off my wrist. I was home when it last synced, but was out and about after that. I've tried syncing randomly to see if I dropped it outside or something....no dice. Anyone know the range that it'll sync?
