  • October Cooking Club Survey

Please take this survey. Let me know any thoughts you have about the questions. Hopefully this will help me design the menu for November a little better.

    I had a hard time suggesting a change (question 7 I think).

I really liked that there was 3 recipes, that 1 was more labor intensive and challenged me to improve my cooking, that 1 was rather simple (the dessert), and that I could bypass one since there were others to choose from.

My complaint is only in relation to desserts- since there are only three of us, we STILL have 3/4 of the bundt cake left. Of course, I should have just frozen one of the cakes and let it be but in the future, if we could have dessert recipes that either can be halved or can be made into smaller parts (i.e. using the mini bundts) that would be great.

We did have tons of leftover soup too, but that was more easily consumed!

I loved it. I picked having more recipes, to give me a new recipe or two for each week. As far as the cake, I loved it, and might repeat it if I were having a dinner or company, but I don't usually bake. I took it to work and they all enjoyed it.

I don't want to "dumb down" the recipe club, but if there is something on the easier side a la Rachel Ray, I might be persuaded to try. (The rest can be fancy-pants because that seems to be the draw and I don't want to take away from this fun group.)

Kelly, I love Rachel Ray. Last night I made her Chipotle Pumpkin Black Bean soup!

Good idea, although lately I would only qualify for the Schwans cooking club.

I think it would be nice to have something quick and easy as well as something that is a bit more complicated. I do like having entree, side, dessert.

Heidi will pick out a November menu and recipes and then post it here. I'll go back and find the October one to bump it for you.
