It's still too warm and sticky these days but I can't wait to do our bil's Indian recipe of chick peas, cauliflower and potatoes! Our house smells Like curry for a week. Mmmmmm curry
Recipe please? It sounds yummy. I've been using my crockpot a lot this summer because I don't want to turn the oven on, so cool weather cooking to me is using the oven! I can't wait to bake again.
This is what kicked off my cool weather cooking this year (even though it's warmed back up in the last few days, but nonetheless...): Lentil and Smoked Sausage Soup
As we're not vegetarian, I used turkey sausage and chicken broth, but it was seriously delicious and of course the house smelled amazing afterwards. DH loved it too. We're big on hearty soups around here.
