This is in the crock pot at home.

The high is 85. I consider that cool.

That looks good and I bet my kids would eat it! I'm printing that for my "recipes to try" pile.

      Thanks!

I'd make it with chicken breasts...but that is just because chicken thighs, etc. gross me out. Too much fat! It was good, though

Recipe please? It sounds yummy. I've been using my crockpot a lot this summer because I don't want to turn the oven on, so cool weather cooking to me is using the oven! I can't wait to bake again.

This thread is making me hungry. DH is sooo picky. Soonertexan, he's the same about thighs, and legs... and other things.

This is what kicked off my cool weather cooking this year (even though it's warmed back up in the last few days, but nonetheless...):
              Lentil and Smoked Sausage Soup
As we're not vegetarian, I used turkey sausage and chicken broth, but it was seriously delicious and of course the house smelled amazing afterwards. DH loved it too. We're big on hearty soups around here.

I, too, would like the Indian crockpot recipe. I can't get enough of it lately...
