I'm in a rut, nothing sounds appetizing, and our grill is currently out of commission. What is everyone making tonight?

Tonight we're actually going out with the other urology residents, but last night I made red beans & rice, and the night before I made tacos and guacamole.Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

I'm making this, at DH's request: http://www.closetcooking.com/2010/01...and-white.html
I hate shrimp, but I love a tomato-y, garlicky, wine-y sauce on my noodles so basically I just eat the pasta.
Last night was crock pot taco chicken made into taco rice bowls which was pretty good. And the night before was this chicken/rice/broccoli thing which turned out to be pretty delicious. http://www.kevinandamanda.com/recipe...-and-rice.html
We're having lots of chicken/rice/pasta hybrids since we've got tons of all of those. DH is going to be sooo tired of chicken after the next couple of weeks are over!Wife, support system, and partner-in-crime to PGY-3 (IM) and spoiler of our 11 y/o yellow lab

I have a big pot of basil exploding on the deck, so it's all about homemade margherita pizza and pasta dishes this week. Last night I needed something really fast before we went out, so I tossed some pasta with garlic I had sauteed in olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped basil, diced tomatoes and grated parmesan. It worked.Wife of PGY-4 (of 6), cat herder, and mom to a sassy-pants four-nager.

The problem is, I think you can only get the Blue Runner beans in NOLA - I used to stock up anytime I came home to visit when I was living elsewhere. Other canned beans would probably be fine, you just have to mash some of them up, I think, and add more seasoning.Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

Lemon curry chicken... This one is a "I made it up" recipe, so I'll let you know how it goes.

I do jambalaya pasta too, but I never typed it up - maybe I should do that...Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

Chicken breasts.
Sour cream, lemon juice, hot curry powder, paprika, garlic, coriander, agave nectar, s&p.
Oven baked at 400 in a glass casserole dish -- I thought 40 min would be enough, but had to do 55 instead.
Diced red bell pepper, slices of yellow onion sprinkled over it, and served on basmati rice. Tasty!
