And also salad and pasta for dinner. But let's get real: this is the priority.
Oh dear god I just googled that recipe and it looks amazing. And I don't even like coconut!

Can anyone suggest any ice cream/frozen yogurt recipes that don't require an ice cream maker?

And I'm glad I googled it because this devout chocolate addict does not like chocolate ice cream. Makes it so much easier to stay on the diet this way.

I think popsicles are the way to go without an ice cream maker. Toss some yogurt, fruit and honey into a blender and puree it, then pour into popsicle molds. Or there's the infamous Nutella popsicles - I think it's just Nutella blended with milk and frozen? Yummmm.

Ice cream makers are about $40....def worth it! (Of course, storage can be a PITA)
If you already have a kitchenaid stand mixer, you can also just buy the ice cream maker bowl for it, rather than a whole separate device, too.

We actually got one for our wedding, but returned it knowing we were seriously downsizing our kitchen space after moving for med school and wouldn't use it nearly as much as what we exchanged it for. I very much regret that decision sometimes!

We use the ice cream attachment for our KitchenAid mixer, too.

Even though we were moving again, we KNEW we'd use that mixer. It takes up a lot of room, but it's worth making space for because we use it all the time. If we didn't use it a lot, it wouldn't be worth the trouble of moving and finding somewhere to keep the damn thing.

Oh, I would never give up my Kitchenaid mixer. I love that thing. I happily gave up a chunk of our limited counter space for it to live on the counter. It's the ice cream attachment I gave up, and I regret that :-\ So much delicious homemade ice cream could have been in my life in the past year.

Oh, hah! Yeah, it's kind of cumbersome to keep it in your freezer if your freezer isn't big.

We're having steak tonight. With either fries or rice and broccoli.

                          Good luck to him!

We're having hot dogs and chips tonight. We have to head out to watch the Spurs game and I want to eat before we go. I'm having a vegetarian dog and he's having regular dogs. Now that I'm on my Monsanto is the Devil kick, trying to find non-GMO hotdog buns is impossible. I went with organic but mutated. Did find veggie chips at Whole Food though.

Since GMO has come up have you tried trader Joe's? Do you have one? Their website says none of their TJ brand has GMO and nothing they sale that says organic so I've been doing almost all of my shopping there.
