What do you do with lots of peaches? I got a big box of peaches today from a farm. They are SO good! I can't possibly eat them all before they are too ripe. What are your favorite peach recipes? So far I'm eating them fresh, I'm making some peach Popsicles, and I've cut some up and put over ice cream.

Peach salsa and cobbler. I think I'd probably slice and freeze to use in later things....like daiquiris.

I'm leaning toward cutting up and freezing. I'd love a pie but I'd be the only who would eat it and frankly I shouldn't eat a whole pie. The Popsicles are really good. I think I'll make a bunch more of those too.Wife to Hand Surgeon just out of training, mom to two lovely kittys and little boy, O, born in Sept 08.

Yummm!! I think you can make "peach butter" in a crock pot, which is much easier than making jam or preserves and is still really yummy. Peach salsa is also awesome, but I get bored chopping everything up. Haha.

You can also make peach toast! There are fancier recipes, but we just slice a peach, put the slices on a piece of bread, sprinkle with brown sugar and pop it in the toaster oven.
Works with nectarines too...My sister and I used to live on that stuff in the summer.I'm just trying to make it out alive!

Yes. Porter peaches! Remind me of my grandmothers peaches right off her tree. Peach butter sounds good. I need to keep things low sugar. I'll look into some recipes.Wife to Hand Surgeon just out of training, mom to two lovely kittys and little boy, O, born in Sept 08.

I have a friend who went to culinary school. During residency she came over to cook for us. It was DEVINE.
The dessert was fresh, ripe peaches (skinned and raw) next to coconut sorbet. It was delicious!Flynn
