I realize in some people's minds "Good Crock Pot recipes" might be an oxymoron, but I've found a few keepers and would love to have a few more.
Here's my fave - please share yours!
Barbeque-Beef Sandwiches from Cooking Light
5 T dk brwn sugar, divided
3/4 t blk pepper
2 1 pound flank steaks
1 c chopped onion
1 c tomato paste
3 T Worcestershire sauce (in my family we call it "woo secret")
3 T molasses
3 T cider vinegar
1 T chili powder
1 t garlic powder
1 t dry mustard
1 t ground cumin
1/2 t salt
Combine 1 T brwn sugar and pepper; rub over both sides of steaks. Combine 1/4 c brwn sugar, onion, and next 9 ingredients (onion through salt) in slow cooker.
Add steaks, turn to caot. Cover with lid; cook on high-heat for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low; cook for 7 hours. Remove steaks; reserve sauce. Shred steaks w/forks. Return shredded steak to cooker; stir into sauce. Spoon onto buns and EAT!
