Tina Fey is everything, IMO. She can do no wrong.

Hardback v. Paperback?

I love nothing more than going into a bookstore and coming out with huge piles of books. (or amazon, as the case may be) I've run out of bookshelves though and need to start culling my collection. It's hard though because my kids are getting to the age where they area starting to peruse our bookshelves and that thrills the heck out of me. I do prefer hardcover for the more "important" books that I feel will become a permanent part of my collection.
That said, I adore my paperwhite. ADORE. I can go on vacation with STACKS of books in this teeny little device. I can order books on a whim in the middle of the night. LOVE it. I try to restrict my purchases to fiction, because non-fiction is too difficult to reference back to quickly.

If it's a classic, hardback but I hate dust covers so I always throw them away. Paperback because they're easier and I too am the victim of the hardback forehead knockout. I like writing in books and underlining things that I want to remember.

All about the hardback book. I have a kindle but still prefer to read an actual book.Tara

Prefer paperbacks. I used to read in the bathtub and paperback is the way to go. Now, no time for baths...
I also love my ipad for late night purchases, though.
