I think we agreed that the top three on the poll would be the first three months' selections, then we can decide whether to keep going down the original list or to re-nominate. I don't know if you can see the poll on mobile devices? Goldfinch won, Flowertown second, and then there's a tie for third between Someone and the Storyteller.

Im game to start Flowertown. I have goldfinch on the library waiting list and it might come in this month, possibly next, but I figured I would read it when it came in and go back and look at its threads when I do.

No strong preference either way. Since it's not happening "in real time" we have more flexibility. I doubt with how...ermm...proactive this group is about posting that they'd lose interest in a topic a month after they've moved on from the book.

I tentatively agree, but it's hard for me to say definitively due to the length of this particular book. It's not a light, easy read.
