Christopher Nolan, you are one of my new favorites!
This movie is uber suspenseful, but not ultra violent, so while I was slowly developing an ulcer while viewing, I wasn't grossed out.
The main emphasis here revolves around the importance of dreams, and introduces the "what if" of technological advances into the dream state.
Plays well on psychological themes and does not proceed in a chronologically ordered plotline, so there's an element of mystery as well.
All-around good acting and casting: bravo, Leonardo diCaprio! Believable and tasteful as the main male lead.
Ending was awesome - DH and I talked/discussed the movie for a good 2 hours afterward. Worth the money: go see it!
