  • Inception - No Spoilers :)

Christopher Nolan, you are one of my new favorites!

This movie is uber suspenseful, but not ultra violent, so while I was slowly developing an ulcer while viewing, I wasn't grossed out.
The main emphasis here revolves around the importance of dreams, and introduces the "what if" of technological advances into the dream state.
Plays well on psychological themes and does not proceed in a chronologically ordered plotline, so there's an element of mystery as well.
All-around good acting and casting: bravo, Leonardo diCaprio! Believable and tasteful as the main male lead.

Ending was awesome - DH and I talked/discussed the movie for a good 2 hours afterward. Worth the money: go see it!

I heard you have to be a NASA scientist to be able to follow the plot...it's a "thinker's" movie.

I am not sure I am that deep. hahahaha...!

Actually, it sounded good. I couldn't stand DiCaprio until I saw "The Departed." That convinced me to see "The Beach" and "Shutter Island," both of which I liked, too. I think I just hated "Titanic."

Titanic was terrible - thank goodness he's evolved (?) since then.

As a previous owner of 200+ pictures of just Leonardo Dicaprio, how dare you say Titanic was terrible

Honestly, when I do go back and watch it I laugh at myself for thinking the truth behind it. But I can't knock him, he's really been amazing and he tried so hard to not play teen heart throb roles. I loved that kid on Growing Pains. But now, I think I have evolved from my crush because he doen'st have that like "man-esque" to him..Javier Bardem..now that's a man...swoon.

        Sorry so off topic!

Haha I'm with MelissaMac - I saw Titanic almost 20 times while it was still in theaters. I would love to see Inception. We're hoping for a visit from our parents soon so we can have a date night. (It's not using them if they *want* grandson time, right?)

Yeah, that's it. That's exactly why I was never a DiCaprio fan when he was younger. I was never one of those teenaged girls who was into the pretty-boy types--you know, the ones who look like that haven't sprouted hair on their chests. That just never struck me as masculine. Even why I was in high school, I liked very masculine movie stars.

DiCaprio seemed like an actual adult in "The Departed."

ALthough, without a doubt, it was Mark Walburg as Dignam that I had the huge crush on!
