  • Most romantic songs

Give me a list of your favorite romantic songs -ones you would like to play during a candlelit dinner with your sweetie.

I could use about 100 or so really, really great love songs. I would prefer ballads for this particular thread.

If you want to add some that aren't ballads, please do, I can always make two CD's. Yes, I am making a mixed CD.

That is an AWESOME song. I know the Indigo Girls version first, and then heard the Dire Straits (original). I love both.

When we used to have romantic dinners we always played the Gipsy Kings. Love them!!!! We also, played a variety of jazz music like Coltrane. However there is only one CD that always brings us back to our honeymoon - La Tierra del Ovido by Carlos Vives. We went to Colombia for our honeymoon and Carlos Vives is a Colombian musician that we really liked while we were there. Finding his CD in the United States was so hard.

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face & Wild is the Wild - I like George Michael's remakes the best.

I Melt With You - Nouvelle Vague has a good remake of this song.

Our "song" was Best Friend by Queen. It's a peppy little number that needs to go at the beginning of the cd....
