    Couldn't have said it better!

btw, I looked on the Amazing Race website and saw that Peter is a clinical prosthetist or something or other. So...if that is the case, why couldn't he have been more help when her prosthetic device failed? Not necessarily techinically in terms of fixing it, but understanding that if it didn't function properly it could limit some of what she could do? Or at least make it harder?

He did try to fix it once (it broke day 1) but it was leaking hydrolic fluid and there wasn't much to do. NOT DEFENDING PETER THOUGH b/c HE'S AN ASS! I'm so glad he's out. I just cringed when he pointed to her leg at the travel agency and said "Medical Emergency". And why is it that she did every Road Block? I've seen her climb up the outside of a fortress in Vietnam, the Great Wall of China, those towers in Kuwait ... what else? I don't remember him doing ANY of those. Why was she the default when he was totally able-bodied??

The Cho brothers were amazing. Their parents must be beaming with pride. I've often wondered why they have the alliance w/'Bama and Kentucky other than friendship, b/c the other two teams haven't really provided a lot of good info. They are truly upstanding people.

Lovely how the beauty queens refer to 'Bama as the "Sistas" when everyone else calls them Alabama. Nice. And I'll admit that for 2 beauty queens they've been a lot tougher than I expected, but I don't like how they've been sneaky and underhanded. Not to mention that none of their underhandedness has gotten them a THING. It almost always seems to backfire.

I wondered that too. I've seen every episode but thought maybe I just don't remember him doing the Road Blocks? It really seems like she has done every one of them. And then he starts yelling when her foot gets stuck or something. Obviously, she is capable of doing them herself but they seem exhausting and he's just sitting there on his a$$ watching her and then yells at her to run when she's done.

She is one of the few contestants to realize what a jerk a race partner is and be ready to part ways. That was good!

It was too bad she had to be in the race with such a jerk, but I am glad she realized it. I personally liked her, but he was an ass.

          Go Cho's!

Wow. I admire the Cho brothers and all ... but at some point they need to wake up and move forward on their own. They lost big time waiting for the other two teams to get out of the water ... and were dangerously close to being eliminated. I hope they don't feel compelled to 'give' #1 to Dave and Mary again.

I can't believe the Chos are out. I loved them.

Out of the remaining teams I like the pageant girls.

It's a wild and wacky world.

I liked the Chos too but thought the were getting too soft with helping the other teams. C'mon boys, let your testicles descend!

Now I like the Barbies best. They have a real shot at being the first all female team to win.

I totally agree! I liked them from the get-go, but in these past 2 episodes they really have been sharing to the point of stupidity. Did they think everyone would get to share the prize? And it was totally clear that 'Bama did not have the same kind of "wait around" thing that the Cho's did. It's one thing to share information, but to wait while another team finished their challenge?

'Bama was super-irritating w/their complaining about the Cho's though. They were always happy to take information or follow when it suited them. Buy your own freaking map!

Just a follow up now that I've watched 2 of the 3 episodes this season.

Nellie - you asked about knowing / liking the teams and preconceived notions. I agree - I did have ideas - but some of my ideas are going out the window. I pretty-much hated the beauty queens last season, but now I find myself pulling for them. They must be getting a dumber edit this time though. I'm glad Kentucky is gone. They really had no business being on an All-Star ... I figured they'd be gone in an instant w/o the Cho's giving them freebies. Charla /Mirna annoy the heck out of me. I'm finding Ian easier to handle this time around. Team Guido ... I don't get my "flaming gay guy" crush on them like I do w/most. Rob / Amber ... I hated them on their prior season ... but there's no denying they work well together.

I'll keep watching. I really dig the show.

I really like Uchena (sp?) and his wife. They seem to really have a great relationship. I could cheer for the Barbies, but Rob and Amber NO WAY.

I really like Rob and Amber. I like how they care for and respect each other and look out for each other in a competitive way. I liked them the last time they were on too. They are not there to make friends, but to win and do it together. I think it's awesome.

Now Charla and Mirna are bugging the crap out of me. The barbies grew on me last season too.

I am glad Kentucky is gone.

I've opted out this season but the one couple I would have liked to watch is Uchena and her husband. I liked them the last time. She's the one that shaved her head, right?

Charla and Mirna also bug me. And...the couple from Miami, he was a police officer or something? They are the ones that made me turn off the tv. I can't stand the way he talks to his wife.
