^^^ Yay! We're hoping to go to the Sept. 24th game. It's the last one I can probably handle pregnancy-wise and I'm thinking it isn't going to happen 3rd or 4th year!

DH's alma mater is playing here this year...two weeks before I'm due I feel pretty good about going to the game since the stadium is across the street from the hospital!

We have tix to see USC play CU in November, which is a big plus to all the conference-swapping in my book! I'm not thrilled that it's going to be a night game in November, but I will just deal and wear layers.

The fact that so many other schools are breaking rules (see: Miami, Ohio State) while we are the only ones to be denied bowl eligibility irritates me, but play on and fight on. Still like the games themselves.

Anyone who breaks rules should be punished; it's unfortunate that only your school seems to be getting the penalties, J. I think *that* is unfair.

But okay, I am hoping that we can enjoy our loyalties in a split household: DH loves the Trojans (no offense, but YUCK!) and I am a Sooner.
How can we get along? I am also concerned about showing our true colors outside, as the local teenage crowd seems to target houses at random to TP. I don't want to give them any ammo.

Do you have two cars? We each get to display our collegiate loyalties on our own cars. No house flags here. DH went to Pomona College, so he's adopted my Trojans for college sports purposes, but his car has no USC stickers - Pomona only.

(When we shared a car, in DC, we alternated the license-plate holder every few months. Yes, we're weird.)

I'm so happy my BF and I are both badgers. I don't think I could be with somebody who doesn't share my obsession. Although, we met at a tailgate, so I never really had to worry about his allegiance.

                And this.

I absolutely agree - DH was one of the few students who would go to games when we were freshmen (the team was 1-11 that year), even though he desperately wanted to put a paper bag over his head. I knew we were meant for each other when that happened. And that his first suggestion on what to do with some upcoming call-free weekends was to buy an additional ticket so he could go with me to some home games.
