            • Awesome Michele!

Today it is dark, cold, gloomy and rainy - all I want to do is curl up in front of the fireplace with a book! Darn kids! (Of course then I would also need to know how to turn on the fireplace, which we haven't used since we moved in almost a year ago! Oops!)

Same here. Except I'm dying to slip into a warm bath after having taken the boys to their activities and navigating their meltdowns this morning. But K1 just. won't. nap.

                • I just got my credit score today too, and learned it is totally badass! Sadly I also just bought a $600 plane ticket and four new tires. Scrub-jay, my jaw is on the floor learning that "Bronies" are a real thing. On another forum I visit, some guy was going on and on about he was a Brony, and I thought he was a troll. I had no idea that was a thing.

Oh, just wait. We all play MIL bingo when she comes into town. Every time she does something whack-a-doo, you mark your board. When a row is filled, start chugging your drink of choice until you no longer care.

And it doesn't take long before everyone is nice and toasty.

If it were me, there's no way you could stop me from drinking in preparation for one of her visits...

                            • Aaaaaaand it begins. They arrived at 2pm, and I just got a call from DH saying they may be here by 5pm.
(Our house is less than 7 minutes, door to door, from the airport).
                              Why, you may ask?
Well, because they had to drive into the city to go grocery shopping (?!), eat food (Hey, I was hungry too. I thought we were meeting up, or going together?), and my sister in law needs to go to REI. As in even farther away from our home. They have multiple REI locations in California, close to her.

I could have taken my son to a friend's house, but I wanted to keep the afternoon open.
                              Whatever.
