  • Hey folks, this is fun but someone just reminded me that this is a public forum. Hope you don't mind but I'm going to do a little editing to protect the not-so-innocent. . .

      • Thanks! Of course, I'm probably pretty safe from people who cannot figure out paypal or who think skype and facebook are the same thing.

        • Today my son used the nice big sofa as a trampoline. My 7th grader protected herself and ST's 1-year old from my bouncing 6-year old boy.

          • Today my son tangled himself in a yoyo. And climbed on DH's head. I'm thinking when we buy another house it needs to be one story. I can see the boy trying to bungee jump...inside.

                • Today I picked up the toddler, dragged her to Costco, stupidly gave in and let her have a few sips of my diet coke, and got home just in time to try and go for a run before it got to dark. DH has the privilege of doing an ER shift tonight for whatever reason so I'm solo.

I had to run with toddler headphones. When I got home I couldn't find BOTH pairs, except for DHs earbuds, which don't work for me. He always uses them and never puts them back. Meanwhile the caffeinated toddler is spinning in circles and screeching. I'm hiding them from him from now on.

That toddler took a 4 hour nap today. Maybe give her decaf next time. But she's perfect because she blew kisses to me before she left today. Enjoy the cans of happy I put in her lunch bag for you!

(Our house is less than 7 minutes, door to door, from the airport).
                              Why, you may ask?
Well, because they had to drive into the city to go grocery shopping (?!), eat food (Hey, I was hungry too. I thought we were meeting up, or going together?), and my sister in law needs to go to REI. As in even farther away from our home. They have multiple REI locations in California, close to her.

I could have taken my son to a friend's house, but I wanted to keep the afternoon open.
                              Whatever.

My inlaws do this crap and it drives me NUTS! One time before coming to the house they went to starbucks, Sams club for adkins shakes (God knows they can't go without their damn shakes for a hour) and wine (ok, i give them that one), the city's visitor's center to get a map and to get info on where to find a post office. I wanted to pull my hair out! There is a post office about 1.5 miles from MY HOUSE.
