      • Wowza. That's scary. Does narcolepsy cause icy cold hands? I don't know.

          • Mommax, that IS scary. I hope he's okay.

Today, I woke up after 10.5 hours of sleep (yay!) realizing that it's March 1st. YAY! Screw you, February, and the horse you rode in. You sucked. Feeling on top of the world, my head filled with plans of productivity for the weekend, I promptly slid through cat puke that is invisible on my kitchen floor. With my bare feet. Tried cleaning it up but apparently did a shitty job, bc I skidded through it again. LOL, March is shaping up to be awesome so far!

            • Today the weather here is the weirdest. Ice, snow, hail, sleet, wind, thunder and lightening. All in the same day.

              • Just fell in love with DrK again watching him patiently help my slightly demented mother put on her snow boots...on our wedding anniversary. Wish I was as good a person as he is.

                • Today...

After Weed-Shitstorm-palooza hit our house hard this weekend and I lost my fucking marbles all over one justifiably freaked out 18 y/o and a DH who was pissing me straight off, they all sheepishly did everything I've been after them to do forever.

DH was giving me shit about "being on edge lately". I'm not on edge, at all. I just know that NO ONE does a goddamn thing I ask them to do until I'm at level-10 pissed and yelling. No one. Not even DH half the time. I'm sooooooo over nagging people. Whenever anyone asks what I want for a birthday/anniversary/holiday gift, I always reply, "Just one day where I don't have to remind anyone of anything," and they think it's a joke. It's not. Dead serious.

DH never really noticed how often the kids have to be repeatedly told something until he's the one to do it. So, instead of me doing it at all this weekend, I simply pointed out to him what was going on and he reminded them. Hah! He was yelling within 20 minutes. So much for it just being me, dude. He seems to get the point much more thoroughly how fucking annoying it is to constantly be ignored.

Today, the kids and DH wash/dried/folded/put away 14 loads of laundry. I did none. All of it was theirs from various places in their bedrooms that I've been asking them to bring up to the laundry room FOR WEEKS.

                          Ok so far:

Done 5 loads of laundry, mosty sheets and towels from the company. Called the air conditioner to schedule yearly maintenance. Cancelled violin because of the roads. Printed off label to return an Amazon thing. Ran off 20 copies of the script for children's choir. E-mailed my adult in the play about extra rehearsals. Read over an essay for my son before he turned it in. Helped my daughter write an essay. Printed off the mission applications to fill out. Balanced the checkbook. Transferred money so massive life insurance premium wouldn't bounce. Emailed my co-op class about their assignment this week. Emailed one parent of a child far behind.

Off to pay bills and exercise. Then continue on the list. Need to pack the trailer as we leave early Friday morning for our camping trip.

Today I'm going to start decluttering our tiny house to get it on the market ASAP. Apparently spring house hunting has begun even though there is six feet of snow permanently on the ground. Should be fun with a clingy baby in tow.

                            • Today, K1 asked me for a refresher on the plot points of Frozen so he could keep up with his girlfriend's interests. I had no idea where the discussion was going when he was repeatedly asking me to clarify the names of the ice princess with the super powers and the girl before he concluded with "and Sidney likes Elsa best. "

We sold ours (closed two days ago) in the middle of some pretty shitastic weather. I was flabbergasted that we had so much interest this early. I feel badly for the new owners who are trying to move into the house in single-digit temps with feet of snow on the ground. Man, I'm REALLY glad the neighbor kid we hired cleared the snow for them so well.
