    We are only off Thursday/Friday (DH too, though, so that's a bonus). DS #1 gets home from collegeTuesday and my in-laws will be arriving from KS late Tuesday or sometime Wednesday. After work Wednesday, I will start prepping! My dad (who lives nearby) will also be joining us for Thanksgiving. The in-laws leave Saturday, so hopefully there will be some time to relax before heading back to school for the push to the end of the semester (and a concert for good measure)!

      Dh was originally off for Thanksgiving day, but scheduled for the last day at his current rotation on Friday, so we were going to have to spend T-day in a city where we don't know anyone. :P Luckily, one of the attendings found out and told the residents to give the students that day off. Win! So now his last day is Wednesday and we'll get to go visit his family for a few days before he starts his December rotation. I know what I'm thankful for this year!

        Dh is off on T-day and I think he won't be working a regular day on Friday but he will be on call Fri, Sat, Sun. We are going to hang out and have some good eats.
        Wife to Hand Surgeon just out of training, mom to two lovely kittys and little boy, O, born in Sept 08.

          From now until December 31 it is always crazy busy because everyone wants surgery while they are off and/or before the end of the year and deductible changes. Plus the other partners want off because their kids are in ps. With homeschooling we have some flexibility so we always take off the first week or two of January.
