Hi, all! Allow me to introduce myself!
My husband and I married at the start of his third year of med school, and he's now a pathology PGY1 beginning his military medical career in a base hospital. (I'd prefer not to say which branch because while the medical community is small, the military medical community is much smaller!) But suffice it to say that we're happy with where we ended up and that the military has been good to us so far. (Let's hope it stays that way!!)
I have a B.S. in the natural sciences and a very eclectic work history, ranging from odd jobs during college to medical research for a few years after graduation. I'm currently and temporarily a high school science teacher. Oh, and a human incubator! I am 22 weeks pregnant with DH's and my first child. We're expecting a little boy! After DS is born, I plan to become a SAHM. I'm also "mommy" to several pets, including two dogs and four birds, all of whom are pretty much spoiled rotten but are wonderful to be around.
Well, that's me in a nutshell! I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!
