  • Hello

Hello - I'm new to this site and to online forums in general, but hope to engage fully.

My spouse is a 2nd year resident in internal medicine. We've been together since meeting in Peace Corps before he decided to be a doctor. We have a toddler and hoping for another one the way. I work full time in nonprofit management and love it, but worry about managing full time work and two children with no family in the area.

Looking forward to meeting others and sharing advice and thoughts.
    Elly

              Re: Hello

Welcome! We're not in the residency or kids phases yet, but there are plenty here who are. Is your husband thinking of doing a fellowship?

Very cool that you met in the peace corps! A few of my sorority sisters are currently involved in that. Do you think you guys will do more service abroad after he's done with training?

Welcome, Elly! We're glad to have you here -- I am a little unclear re: your second child. Are you currently expecting, or TTC? Either way, there are many people on this forum in both arenas that are a great source of support and insight (not to mention a soundboard). *waves*
