@nychooser-- thankfully he does not want to do a residency and is already thinking about real jobs. He does want to travel like in Doctors w/o Boarders but I don't see how that works in a scenario where I work.

@Tif - So glad to her you can manage multiple kids and full time jobs. Do you have in home childcare? Or how do you do it?

Welcome!!! I am from Pittsburgh as well. Which hospital is your husband doing his residency at?? Mine is at Western Penn.

Nope! I don't do in home care!! Before we will put our kids in childcare, we do extensive interviews. I first call those I am interested in to ask some questions, then narrow it down to do home visits, and then make the decision from there. In both places we have done this, it has ended up working out wonderfully, but we may just be extremely lucky!! BUT, I think we truly are very picky about where we put our kids and this has helped quite a bit too! If you have any questions about interviews, let me know! I think I may have them saved somewhere or I can type them up for you when I get the chance!
