Thank you for all the welcomes! You all don't even know how grateful I am that I found this site. He and I don't get to see one another much, but we try very hard to have some kind of contact throughout the week. Since he's the busier than I am, I've told him that it is okay if he can't get back to me that week, but when I say that I'm secretly I'm dying inside, lol. I just don't want to seem needy or make him feel bad for not giving me attention, although I consider myself pretty independent. Even though I know it's temporary, it sucks since we used to see each other everyday and talk everyday, we've been together for a little over a year, so nearly half of our relationship has been long distance.

It was tolerable in the beginning right after he moved and a few months into it, but these last two months have been stressful. Our schedules don't match up ever since I work an 8hr friday, 16hr saturday, and 16hr sunday and have school during the week to finish my nursing pre-reqs. He has to retake his USMLE,(he'd kill me for mentioning it, lol) because he didn't do so hot the first time . He's studying hard core, so right now it is really tough. I finally got a webcam(3 days ago, lol) so we can at least see one another online since we can't in person, until our schedules finally sync up. My friends think that I am crazy, lol, but I know that we love each other and knowing that others have made it gives me hope. I'm glad there are other RN/NP's out there! Thanks for letting me vent and rant I hope this helps y'all understand me a little better, lol. This group just makes my day!

There's no shame in retaking a test for a better score. And the lead up to those tests suck giant hairy balls for everyone, test-taker and those around the stress ball test-taker.

Hang in there. We totally get all the weird bullshit.

Welcome! And don't feel bad for ranting and venting -- we're really good at that around here

We've only had to do long distance for about 6 weeks of our relationship but the webcam was a life saver! I hope y'all are able to take advantage of it sometime soon.
