  • Hello! (Sort of new here) :)

Hi there! I used to post here fairly often when DH was in med school, but I haven't been around in awhile. When I tried to log on again, I got a message that I've been banned (maybe because it's been so long?), hence the new screen name. I formerly posted as LMK17. Not sure if anyone recognizes me any more, but I remember a few names from way back when.

Anyway, I'm Lindsay. I've been with DH for 10 years total and married for 6, which means we've been together for part of undergrad, all of med school, and almost all of residency! He's PGY4 in pathology, less than one month away from graduation, and is also in the military. I am so ready for residency to behind us finally! We have a 3 y.o. little boy, and I'm 22 weeks pregnant with our second, a girl!

Looking forward to getting to know everyone on the forums.

Hellooo. Pathologist's wife here, too. Are you headed into fellowship after graduation? Are you guys HPSP?
Married to a hematopathologist seven years out of training.

Thanks for all the welcomes and congrats!

Auspicious- Yep, he's HPSP. He owes 3 years on his current contract. (Which also means he didn't get the scholarship until MSII and therefore we have $40K in med school debt from his first year! Blech!) They weren't offering any fellowships next year that he's interested in, so he'll be staff for at least a year and then think about fellowship after that. Not sure yet if he'll opt to do a fellowship through the military or after he separates. Thankfully, he's been assigned back to the same hospital/base for next year, so no upcoming PCS for us! Yay! You guys also military?
