Welcome!! So glad you found us! Been here since 2nd year of residency and the ladies and gents here have kept me sane throughout several moves and other craptastic adventures in medicine. Now we are 6 years out of training.

Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!

not many guys here--relative to the females. from my prospective--it a pretty hard long road.

Welcome! I'm new as well. By my understanding things get a bit easier after that first board exam. My husband and I met after he'd already taken it and I'm kind of glad for that. I hate to say it this way but you'll be thankful for all the time you spent together before she got so busy, and you will definitely learn how to treasure the times you're able to spend now!

No one here blends in...or stands out. Everyone has a unique story related to the medical life, but there are also some generally similar threads to all the stories.

That's a very good way of putting it, GMW.

I think the more often you post/get involved with conversations, the more individual personalities begin to stand out.
Please stick around, and let us get to know you -- with so many different backgrounds and experiences, we would hardly want you to just "blend in".
