Glad you found us, and best of luck with the match!
The wedding date was sort of the making the best of it - his entire family from all around the country was already going to be in town for graduation so combining the two into one hectic weekend was sorta the best route we could take. It wasn't until much later that we decided we should have simply eloped!
Thank you!! Glad to be here!

Welcome!! My husband is an anesthesiologist (finished residency last year). So far, I'd say it's a great field! Looking forward to getting to know you!
That's great to hear! Seems a long way away but good to know the light at the end of the tunnel is real! Congrats on making it through residency!

Welcome! We got married a week after graduation and a few days after moving from two different places! I feel your pain...
Yikes! I am certainly *hoping* we will be able to marry, graduate, go away for a couple days and THEN move - but who knows what will happen. Everyone keeps asking what our plans are and I keep telling them to ask me on March 22nd and I might have an idea.

Welcome, and good luck! We went to a wedding last year in April for some good friends who were MS4s, and it was a lot of fun.

Greetings and Salutations sounds like what we expect to hear from the offers for match interviews right now. Don't mind me. I'm just impatient. Welcome. I hope you stick around and post often.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there.
Welcome to the crapfest of medicine. We get it. Stick around and post frequently when shit goes sideways. You'll get lots of support and maybe a few, "yup, that just medicine" comments, but we've got your back.

YOU'RE TELLING ME! I am SO impatient. I just want him to get ALL the offers RIGHT NOW so I can stop worrying about it.
Confession: I also really want to plan out his trips and get all his tickets and do all the planning. I'm a total planner.
What specialty are yinz hoping to match into?

Welcome to the group.
This made me smile ear to ear, diggitydot! I haven't made lasting bonds with anyone "in the know" yet and sometimes that really sucks. Okay, most times that really sucks. Driving directly into that brick wall call residency - I'm pretty sure I'm going to need some support beyond "yeah, but he's going to be a DOOOCCCCCTORRRRR !"
Thank you for the vote of confidence... and the welcome!
