Angie - those videos crack me up. It also gives me a new appreciation for the episode of 30 Rock where Liz and Floyd "flee to the Cleve" and sing this awesome song about how great Cleveland is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwLwyHGuAnk (disclaimer: shitty Android video because NBC sucks and pulls all real clips from the internet)

Very good running in the metro parks and around Case. If you're into that.

Also, there is actual a beach within 45 minutes. It's a lake beach but there's sand nonetheless.

Random Question: What activities are happening on July 4th in Cleveland? Are there good fireworks? What do people normally do?

A lot of people go to Blossom for a concert and then fireworks; generally they do fireworks for a few days around the 4th. The only 4ths here that I've actually done fireworks, that's what I've done.

Looks like there's a free community concert on the 2nd downtown, and then concerts at Blossom on the 3rd and 4th. I expect that since the 4th is Friday, it'll be CRAZY PACKED.

Here's a list of other fireworks, by city: http://fireworksinohio.com/by-city/cleveland-ohio/

Hello from Cleveland! - New Meetup group

There's a big event in Public Square each year, too. http://www.cleveland.com/metro/index...lays_star.html

We always go to the Indians game if they are in town. They are this year.

I still snort laugh every single time I see the Cleveland tourism ad! Soooo funny.

Sadly, Toledo, Akron, Youngstown, and Dayton got hit even WORSE by the recession than the "Cleve". I'd hate to see their tourism videos.
