Welcome from another Minnesotan (I have to admit that it is hard to consider myself Minnesotan) and surgery spouse (it is harder to admit this).
Best of luck with the impending match and welcome aboard.

I have heard not to live in the SE. Are there any other areas to look out for? We have a preliminary hunt for houses right now.
Thanks!

Miranda,
The SE is usually a good place to stay away from all though technically there are some SE neighborhoods VERY close to the clinic that are okay. The NW section (where we live) is growing like crazy. Everything NW is very nice and fairly new, we're off of 55th NW and our house is 12 years old. Three blocks north of us they're putting up brand new monstrosity homes.
If you need a realtor recommendation let me know, we loved ours.
Good luck!Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.
