I saw they had a "big announcement" but didn't get to hear the actual story. unbelievable!

They are freaky, and with their TV show I have to wonder if they haven't fallen into the doing it for publicity camp.

The most shocking thing to me is that people are still shocked. Like they're going to suddenly call it quits.

I am curious how long her fertility will hold out, though. She's well into her 40s and her ovaries don't even seem to be slowing down--seems like they're still averaging every 18 months or so. Her pump is primed!

I confess I'm addicted to their show and find plenty to like about their family (as well as lots that makes me cringe).

I wonder what the son who is expecting thinks about this - not that he has to deal with it since he moved out and away but the new one will be younger then his child.

And yet people wonder why I don't like to claim Arkansas as my home state. They lived about 15 miles from where I grew up.

I wouldn't want that many kids, but to each their own, I guess.

At least the kids all seem happy and well-behaved--I cant fault them there.

I know a person who was #7 out of 16..his mother was pregnant nearly nonstop from 16 to 35...Some people just choose "broodmare" as a lifestyle...I think it's also a cultural thing with some folks...

I'm just imagining throwing a pencil down a hallway....

I saw the Today show interview this morning. I cracked up when Meredith says something like "so the big announcement is... your getting a puppy??"

I'm preggers with my first baby. I can't imagine doing this 18 more times and having a working uterus. From what DH has told me they have many children based on religious beliefs. I wonder what happens in that culture or religion when a woman can't produce so many babies. That seems like a lot of pressure. Especially if I was Mrs. Dugger's daughter in law.

I'm thinking that she's got to give it up by age 50. Even in her culture I can't imagine it's acceptable to continue on past the age of 50. Maybe?
