Well, I wasn't happy with Governor Corzine, and I didn't like the R candidate any more than I did Corzine. So, I did the grownup, mature thing and voted for the Independent candidate. I basically threw my vote away. I felt crappy all day. I should have just stayed in bed longer and not bothered. But then I wouldn't have been able to whine and complain, because my rule is if you don't cast a vote, you don't get to complain!!!!!!

Now I will grow up! I do hope Christie does a good job and wish him well.

A vote cast is never a vote thrown away. I am glad you just got out and pulled the lever.

ITA - regardless of political affiliation. More people should get out there and vote. The larger the role the voters play, the more they are taken into consideration. (In an ideal world!)

You did your part. I'm sick of talking to people who are overly vocal about politics and then tell me they didn't vote!! WTH? You can only complain (or rejoice) if you voted.

Corzine is a schmuck. Let's hope this guy can clean up New Jersey politics. (as long as he stays out of Camden, he should be fine)

I don't think you threw your vote away at all! From what I've heard, it sounds like Daggett was a good candidate with some good ideas for governing, but that he started to get name recognition a little too late in the game. Perhaps he will be a more viable candidate in 2013.

What do you think of Christie's lieutenant governor? It will be interesting to see exactly how this position pans out and how much influence they have over the Legislature/state policy. Thank God the lieutenant governor is not Codey!!
