I never posted on facebook that I was pregnant. It was kind of fun just posting after I already had the baby. If it were up to me I wouldn't have even told our families. I love facebook probably too much, but I like to keep some stuff to myself.

So about two months ago I turned off my wall... then noticed today it was back on? What the heck, that's really annoying. I feel like when they keep making updates it changes your settings without your knowing it!

I turned my wall off about 3 years ago (after listening to a talk by career services about online reputation management... just figured wasn't worth the risk) and someone randomly posted on my wall about 3 weeks ago. But when I went to check my privacy settings, nothing had changed. I'm still confused as to how and why my wall became active again. In their defense, I usually access fb on my phone and tend to ignore the update messages from the "facebook team." But I hate when they change privacy related controls... well really I hate when they change anything (but I know I can't do anything about that issue). We talked about this pretty often in my Communications Law and Internet law classes. It's a pretty interesting issue.
