  • North Korean Threat

I'm not sure if debates is the right place for this, but just in case. Is anyone else as worried as I am about North Korea?

I don't know much about the whole situation/history, but I do know that things are all sorts of FUBAR over there. It is scary, for sure! I'm just not sure what Dennis Rodman can do about it

No one gets the Rodman thing...

Actually, I kinda get it. He's all about attention and ego. This trip stroked both.

Agreed. He should've worn the new shorts they're making the college guys wear. As for North Korea, I don't think there's much to worry about. It seems that every generation of Kim dictators gets louder with threats but they're also like Wile E. Coyote, with nothing actually going right. Meep meep.

I think this threat came after Dennis Rodman's visit, what the hell did he say to him?! I asked dh what he thought. He just said that would be stupid of him as it would be the end of him and the end of North Korea. I think it would be the end of the world. Nukes are like guns, a few are ok but if everyone has one, a safer world that does not make!

He's on his way to NK? Scary hope all goes well and he stays safe.

I'm sending up prayers for them. If he's part of the drills the US Army is participating in with the South Korean Military that North Korea sees as an act of aggression then it sounds like their island may get shelled on March 11th by North Korea. It's only a day away so I guess we'll all see if North Korea is bluffing or going to war with us.

What the heck is up with them? I don't know how to interpret it really.

I don't know either. I'm not sure if it's MSM blowing everything out of proportion and it's really just business as usual with NK or what.
