I love it! That guy is awesome!

I actually had a friend do something similar when he was in grad school. He was out at a bar, and a bunch of football players were being total jerks. He overheard one of them yell "eff this place, let's go to <insert name of pizza place next door>! My friend quickly went next door, bought every single pizza, and ran home. I'm not sure what he did with all the pizza, but he will never forget the night the nerdy science geeks beat the Division 1 football team.

I find it more hilarious that Fox News is making news of a story posted by an anonymous person in Canada on Reddit. I do love me some Reddit, but according to the OP of the story, this story occurred about 2 years ago. I found this story quite funny though.

I read this on snopes, which just says that there's no way to verify that it actually happened.

I was also wondering if this actually happened, but still think it's funny. And I had no idea Fox picked it up. I thought it was just an internet thing. Not sure how newsworthy it is especially coming from Reddit.

I really don't like to see food being wasted, so I would only feel good about this if the guy gave the pies to the homeless or something. On the hand, it's often questionable if BK's products can be considered food, especially those pies!

I am a big fan of the Reddit community. There's some newsworthy stuff that comes out of there, such as the Barack Obama Ask Me Anything(AMA) thread and Reddit Gifts for teachers. But, I tend to take posts of stories submitted on /r/offmychest with a grain of salt.

My kids are both active redditors. They found this whole thread hilarious. Reddit can be cool, but there's a lot of BS on there as well. They would place money on the original story about the pies being BS.
