Dad's a moron. The kid is not at the age of reason and doesn't get this at all, it's the same as screaming obscenities at him. Kid has no idea what the issue is. However, if you're going to take away custody because of this then you better just turn more than half the kids in the country over to the state.
I hate the new shaming trend. It's stupid. Equally stupid when parents do it about their infants on Facebook.

As a mom who is in a battle to get sole custody because of repeated low to mid level parenting stupidity, I would push on this one as hard as I could with my attorney.

I think it's another case of an immature parent trying to get internet "Likes". He obviously didn't care about the kid learning social rules, and he sounds like a jerk. I think whether he was providing adequate supervision during his stunt will determine if a custody change is in order.
