A chopped and spliced 10 year old video of out of context comments discussing immigration? Yeah, that's totally equivalent to Trump's recent comments regarding judges with Mexican sounding last names, his idea to make registries of POC, or his proposed moratorium on Muslim immigrants.

He's a fucking racist assbag. There's no way to get around that. If you're cool with that, fine. Do you.

Trump is a horrible human being and I will be very, very fearful if he gets elected. Kidzoo, I just don't get how you can think otherwise. He reminds me of Hitler or Mussolini.

One of the corollary problems with trump is the stench he leaves on the entire GOP. There are far more eloquent writers than me who have spoke about this. Ostensibly, the GOP stands for limits on federal government, fiscal conservation, preserving the rights of the individual from Government encroachment. I know a lot of people who happen to agree to these tenets on both sides of the aisle.

Unfortunately, however, the GOPhas been hijacked by an idiot and the rest of the party hasn't stepped up to clean their own house. To be clear, this will destroy the GOP. Look, there is always going to be a loud mouth idiot. Quite frankly, I've never been in an organization that hasn't had a loud mouth idiot. (LMI). FFS, stop with the violence and death threats. There are ten more idiots behind him to take his place. This is America and short of terroristic threats or slander and hate speech, he can say whatever he wants. We should all let the idiot talk. He is free to choose to say what he wants. He is not free from the consequences, however.

What we should not do, however, is give him a platform and listen to him. The press have built this platform for the LMI. What is TRULY terrifying is the sway he holds over people. I have never been more terrified and saddened for the state of humanity.

My hope is that both candidates are so polarizing that we will move to a multi party system.

Trump's hijacking of the GOP may be brash, but the takeover of the party by know-nothings and extremists is not news. The anti-science, anti-environment, narrow-looking Newt-Gingrich-loving faction which has been the mouthpiece for the GOP for 20 years is responsible for the downward slide which has brought us to this point. I'm just so disgusted with both sides, and I think I'm not alone.
Some new centrist group is really needed - I'm still looking for that white horse to come riding through the middle.
