    OK, that reminds me of a very funny, albeit tangential anectdote. My friend's mom runs Cleveland's Free Clinic. They actually got a *solicitation* for donations -- from the Cleveland Clinic! I think she framed the letter and put it on her wall!
    Oh, that is just too funny.

    On the tax issue....there are issues here with large corporations (Nike, Intel) and property taxes. I think that one or both have received incentives in the past. I think they keep trying to get more (can you blame them?).
